All of the Rays coaches were up for contract renewal, and all survived except one.  Hitting coach Steve Henderson was not retained, despite team highs in runs, home runs and OBP.

Bruce Levine of ESPN Chicago is reporting that the Rays are interested in acquiring Cubs outfielder Milton Bradley.  The Rays, if you recall, made a bid for Bradley before settling for Pat Burrell in the past offseason.  Now, there’s some talk that the Rays may try to entice the Cubs to swap the two outfielders.
